The South Tyne Traction Engine Society (STTES) was founded in November 1977 by a group of enthusiasts in Haydon Bridge, a peaceful and scenic village in the beautiful South Tyne valley.
The society has hosted the Corbridge Steam and Vintage Rally at Tynedale Rugby Club, Tynedale Park, Corbridge nearly every year since, except during the foot-and-mouth outbreak and the Covid-19 pandemic.
All money raised is donated to local charities and good causes in the area.
Meetings are held on the first Wednesday each month, get in touch using the contact us web page if you would like to become a member of the society.
Organisers have already begun planning the rally for next year which will mark the 50th anniversary year of the society.
